Undergraduate Admissions

University Admissions

Students interested in an undergraduate program in the College of Health and Human Sciences are first accepted to Georgia State University through the undergraduate Office of Admissions. An on-line application is available.

Students majoring in Criminal Justice have completed their application process when they are accepted to the university.

Professional Program Admissions

Students majoring in nursing, nutrition, respiratory therapy and social work are accepted to the university as pre-professional students (pre-nursing, pre-social work, etc.). A second application and admission process is necessary to gain entrance into the professional programs in those areas. The programs in nutrition, respiratory therapy and social work accept a new class of students each year in the fall semester only.  The program in nursing accepts new students for both fall and spring semesters.  Students can enter Georgia State University in any semester for their pre-professional course work.
