  • Our BSW program was started in 1981 and is currently the largest undergraduate social work program in Georgia.
  • Our MSW program admitted the first class in 1998, and has a unique concentration in Community Partnerships
  • Our faculty have research expertise in a vast array of social work contexts and practice areas including child welfare, restorative justice, housing and income issues, aging, community organizing and practice, mental health and addictions, HIV/AIDS, and health disparities among other areas.
  • Our graduates have jobs in a variety of social work roles and practice settings.  Their job titles include: Executive Director, Director of Assisted Living, Social Service Case Manager, Research Associate, Medical Social Worker, Director of Development, and School Social Worker.
