Daniel J. Sansone Memorial Scholarship for Undergraduate Students in Nursing or Respiratory Therapy interested in Pediatrics: This scholarship was established in memory of Daniel Sansone, who dedicated his life to providing compassionate care to children and adults. The award is available to assist undergraduate students enrolled in either nursing or respiratory therapy who are interested in pediatric care. All applicants must have financial need. Lettie Pate Whitehead Scholarship
Applications are accepted in the fall semester for the Lettie Pate Whitehead Scholarship. The Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation Scholarship is for female, undergraduate students enrolled in the professional health programs of nursing, nutrition, and respiratory therapy. Pre-nursing, pre-nutrition, or pre-respiratory therapy students are not eligible for the scholarship.

James Ancil Lewis Award
This is an annual award given to a junior in the respiratory care program to honor Jim Lewis' exemplary work in the respiratory care field from 1973 until his death in 1992. The award is given to students who exemplify Lewis' characteristics of service to others, particularly in clinical work and direct patient care.
