Respiratory Therapy
The Division of Respiratory Therapy examines problems relating to breathing disorders including asthma, emphysema, pneumonia and lung infections, cystic fibrosis and breathing difficulties due to premature birth. Students and faculty in the division work together on projects ranging from diagnosing lung and breathing disorders, mechanical ventilators and artificial airway devices, to educating patients and families about lung disease for maximum recovery.
