The Institute of Public Health is a graduate degree-granting program with the mission of advancing health through leadership, scholarship, research and service to better the human condition and promote the common good. The MPH program at Georgia State University is fully accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health and has graduated scores of students including a number of Fulbright Scholars.

Program Information
- Certificate in Public Health
The Graduate Certificate in Public Health will offer strong foundations in public health theory, research, and practice. The Certificate in Public Health (CPH) is a 15-credit hour program of study that can be pursued either as a stand alone certificate or in connection with a graduate degree. - Master of Public Health
The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree requires the completion of 42-credit hours and a declared specialization in one of three public health tracks: Prevention Sciences, Health Promotion and Behavior, or Health Management and Policy.
