Jeannette Anderson is certified in Manual Therapy and is completing her Doctor of Health Sciences degree from the University of Indianapolis. In addition to her 25 years of clinical experience in outpatient and acute-care settings and academic experience at Western Carolina University, Ms. Anderson most recently served as a clinic director for Physiotherapy Associates.

YU-PING CHEN, PT, PhD

Dr. Chen’s research is in the area of movement patterns of children. She has published research on the reaching patterns of children with cerebral palsy and fine motor tasks in toddlers. Prior to coming to Georgia State, Dr. Chen was a member of the PT faculty at California State University, Fresno.

Dr. Fabrizio is a certified ergonomics assessment specialist, a member of the American Association of Clinical Anatomists, and an APTA member. Prior to joining the GSU faculty, Dr. Fabrizio was a Clinical Instructor at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. His teaching interests are in the anatomical sciences and research interests involve descriptive anatomical studies, anatomy teaching methods and skeletal muscle function.

Dr. Fiss has practiced in early intervention, pediatric outpatient, home health and long term acute care settings. Her doctoral research focused on service delivery models and use of playgroups in pediatric physical therapy. She holds Board Certified Specialization in pediatric physical therapy from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Dr. Fiss continues to practice in early intervention.

KIMBERLY MORELLI, PT, DPT, MTC

Dr. Morelli has practiced as a physical therapist in outpatient and home health settings. She has held positions at both staff and supervisory levels. She received her Manual Therapy Certification through the University of St. Augustine.

Dr. Tunney’s clinical focus is in the area of adult neurological rehabilitation. She has held positions at both staff and supervisory levels. Her teaching interests include basic patient management, adult neurological rehabilitation and geriatrics. Dr. Tunney’s research addresses motor learning and the older adult.

Dr. Wang’s research focus is on three dimensional kinematical and kinetic analysis of gait, balance, and muscle strength for the elderly, neuromuscular function, and three dimensional kinematical patterns in wheelchair locomotion and rehabilitation as well as the use of tai chi as a rehabilitative intervention. Dr. Wang has expertise in computer modeling and simulation of human movement.

Dr. Warren joined the GSU faculty in 1998. After completing his Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology from the University of Georgia in 1989, he has worked as a research scientist in the field of muscle physiology. His research interests include exercise- and work-induced muscle injury and the functional relationship between muscle and bone.
