The College of Health and Human Sciences has over 100 faculty members, many of whom are full-time. Our faculty have real world experience in the disciplines they teach and many are nationally and internationally renowned as experts in their field. As part of a public research university, our faculty conduct research in a myriad of topics including: pediatric asthma, effects of obesity on patient health, intergenerational kinship care, effects of tobacco use, improving mobility in patients using wheelchairs, using technology to improve crime data collection and welfare to work transition.
The college is also fortunate to have a dedicated staff. Staff members are very experienced in their positions and many have served Georgia State for over a decade.
