"Three years ago, I started Renal Reserve, LLC. My mission was to assist
dialysis centers with high quality support staff on a contract basis. In
2002, we became Medicare providers for medical nutrition therapy. At
Renal Reserve, we are developing a new pre-dialysis diet that we hope
to copyright soon."

 

"Last year, I was selected to be one of the American Dietetic Association's
national media spokespeople. I am one of 25 dietitians around the
country who are given the privilege of being the "voice" of the ADA."

 

"The highlight of my career so far came in August of 2003. I traveled to
Quito, Ecuador in South America as an educator for Campo Amigo, a
camp for children with Type 1 Diabetes. I went as a volunteer with
AYUDA, Inc."

 

"I currently work as part of a contract service for the Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA. The Lifestyle Program is a
multi-site worksite health promotion program designed to have a
positive impact on the health of CDC employees."

 

"I have received numerous awards in my naval career and have
been officially awarded the Meritorious Service Medal from the
President of the United States and Surgeon General of the Navy."

 

"Throughout my career I have talked to thousands of older adults and
their caregivers about eating well and maintaining healthy lifestyles. I
have also frequently been asked to serve on national and state advisory
panels to address issues related to nutrition and healthy aging."
