Comments from the Professor
These are exciting times for the study of food and nutrition. Professionals and scientists in the area of nutrition now have new and evolving tools that promise to revolutionize the way food is grown and distributed, the way nutrition intervention can be personalized to promote health and prevent disease and the way to study the effects of food and food components on health at the molecular level. Teaching these concepts through pedagogy and research is invigorating.
