Nutrition
The Division of Nutrition examines problems relating to food and nutrition needs of diverse populations and educates professionals who develop nutrition programs and deliver nutrition services in clinical, public health, educational, foodservice, and business settings. Students and faculty in the division work together on projects ranging from special needs of competitive athletes and immigrant populations to health programs for at-risk youth to laboratory studies on effects of special fats on obesity.

Program Information
- Bachelor of Science
The Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) is a Bachelor of Science degree program that provides the student with the appropriate coursework to apply for a dietetic internship. - Master of Science in Health Sciences
The Master of Science with a major in Health Sciences and a concentration in Nutrition is a 36-semester hour program. - Coordinated Program
The coordinated program (CP) is a 4-6 semester program of didactic course work and supervised practice that meets requirements for the M.S. degree and for taking the registration examination for dietitians.
