VCLASS/Eluminate Live is the web conferencing software used by Byrdine F. Lewis School of Nursing. This software facilitates distance learning through virtual classrooms on the internet. The interaction in a real classroom is simulated in this virtual classroom where students can speak to each other and the professors, share data, raise hands to ask questions, take quizzes, use the internet and so on.Students need to have internet access and an Elluminate Live account or virtual classroom link to access a course online or a meeting room. Students may also watch recorded sessions of their courses after each class session should they miss a class session or want to review any previous session.
