**All core course requirements must be satisfied before entering into the nursing program by way of…

  1. Completion of a previous bachelor’s degree
    OR
  2. Completion of core course requirements for a Bachelor of Science with a major in Nursing degree as outlined in the current Georgia State University Undergraduate Catalog.  (see Core Curriculum below)

**All Georgia legislative requirements must be satisfied before entering into the nursing program. These include…

  1. A reading and writing competency examination (Regents’ Test)
    AND
  2. Examinations or comparable courses in United States history, Georgia history, the United States Constitution and the Georgia Constitution.

Minimum Program GPA:  All applicants to the Accelerated Program with a bachelor’s degree must have a minimum program GPA of 3.0 to be considered for admission. All applicants to the Accelerated Program without  a bachelor’s degree must have a minimum program GPA of 3.25 to be considered for admission.
