Cecelia Gatson Grindel, PhD, RN, FAAN, currently serves as the Associate Director for the Graduate Programs in Nursing. She has over 20 years of teaching in academic settings. Her areas of clinical expertise include medical-surgical and oncology nursing. Her research interests are living with chronic illness (HIV/AIDS, oncology, cardiovascular disease) and program evaluation. She has numerous publications and presentations to her credit. She has also held many leadership positions including President and Co-founder of the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses.
