Clinical Expertise
Ms. Aycock holds a certification as an Adult Health Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (2004). Her clinical background is in Orthopedics, Neurology and Medical-Surgical Nursing.
 
Research Interests
Ms. Aycock has spent the majority of her nursing career involved in clinical and nursing research and received a certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals in 1999. She has coordinated pharmaceutical funded analgesic clinical trials, an NIH funded multi-site study of family caregivers in stroke and served as the education coordinator for Emory’s Alzheimer’s disease Research Center funded by NIH.  She is currently the project manager for an internet based diary study of women with migraines and a study exploring rehabilitation treatment effects on stroke survivors’ quality of life and family caregiver outcomes.
