Thank you for visiting the website of the Department of Criminal Justice at Georgia State University!
Our nationally and internationally recognized faculty members are scholars who are committed to providing the best possible education to our students while at the same time advancing our discipline by performing groundbreaking research and engaging in significant service activities. We offer Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees to students interested in criminal justice. Currently, more than 440 students are enrolled in our degree programs. Effectively immediately the Department of Criminal Justice is accepting applications for the following scholarships
James L. Maddex, Jr., Phil Peters, and Bobby Joe Chancey, Sr. Information about scholarship requirements and application forms may be obtained here. All applications must be completed as directed and submitted to Dr. Sue Carter Collins, Chair, Scholarship and Awards Committee, 1216 Urban Life Building. Incomplete application packets will not be considered for funding. The deadline for accepting applications is 5pm on February 19, 2010. Recipients will be determined on February 23, 2010, and notified prior to March 10, 2010.
