Criminal Justice

The term ‘criminal justice’ refers to public safety agencies, courts, and corrections as a system for the administration of city, county, state and federal laws. The curriculum also focuses on the causes of crime and theoretical explanations relating to the crime problem. There are two options of study in criminal justice: the Crime and Justice track, which is the traditional curriculum in criminal justice; and the legal track, which is designed for criminal justice majors who are interested in an intensive exposure to law in preparation for law school.
