About the College

The College of Health and Human Sciences offers students experiences that extend beyond the classroom. Students gain hands-on experience while helping the community through internships and clinical opportunities as diverse as community policing in Atlanta and providing health care to inner city school children.

We are proud of our 100-member faculty, many of whom are nationally and internationally recognized for their expertise in areas such as community policing, child abuse, early childhood development, teen pregnancy prevention, asthma treatment and clinical practice. Drawing from extensive experience in the community, our professors bring insight and innovation to the ever-changing environment of health care, social services and criminal justice.

The college's interdisciplinary learning approach offers students a richly diverse, practical education founded on an academic regimen of excellence. Our students graduate as well-prepared professionals who go on to become leaders in their fields.
