J. Rhodes Haverty Lecture

The 5th annual J. Rhodes Haverty Lecture held on October 25, drew approximately 250 alumni, donors, community members, faculty & staff and students to hear our speaker William Novelli, the CEO of AAPR.   AARP, formerly the American Association of Retired Persons, is the largest organization for people age 50 and over.  Novelli’s lecture, which was well-received, focused on the growing problems of healthcare and financial security.
